MK Strother is a Georgia grown singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist that is quickly gaining ground in the music industry. At the young age of 5, MK began learning piano taught by her grandmother, and it quickly turned into a love for music that was unexplainable. MK went on to participate in the local high school’s marching band as a flute player, then started fiddle lessons in 2016.
Known for her unique fiddling style and sweet southern vocals, MK began turning heads in late 2020 when she played her first live performance at Maddy’s Public House in her hometown. Now she has played across the state of Georgia and entertained crowds with a wide variety of music genres.
In January 2023, MK decided to slow down on the gigs and become more consistent with her songwriting. It wasn’t long before she started to step into the Nashville scene and work with hit songwriters to hone in her craft. Given her Old Timey background in music, MK has developed a folk/country sound with a tinge of bluegrass that sets her apart from the crowd. In December 2023, she debuted some of her original tunes at a writer’s round that took place in the Nashville Palace.
MK has her eyes set on bigger goals and can’t wait to share the songwriting side with everyone!
